Peggy Haile Ayres- Proprietor
Peggy is the President of Ayres Title & Settlement Services LLC and has been in the real estate market for well over 25 years. The company was established in August 2006. Peggy is currently president of several subsidiary title insurance companies. She is a licensed title insurance underwriter through Old Republic Title Insurance Company. Ayres Title is CRESPA registered with the Virginia State Bar. Mrs. Ayres holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from James Madison University with minors in Criminal Justice and pre-law studies. She started her career in 1985 where she gained vast knowledge of corporate law and procedures with Hunton and Williams Law. After deciding to pursue her career in real estate law, she worked for a Richmond Law firm whose focus in corporate and residential real estate market gave her over 20 years experience. During the same time period, she was Vice President, Manager, and Stockholder of the Land Title Company in the downtown Richmond area. Peggy has handled transactions that range from small land properties to mutli-million dollar contracts. Her passion and dedication is for her clients in the residential and commercial communities she serves. She enjoys helping first time buyers achieve the satisfaction of owning their own home. Long active in the real estate closing industry, Mrs. Ayres's goal is to grow in the locations she serves and expand in the area of helping buyers and sellers in possibly the greatest real estate transaction of a lifetime.
Felicia Braxton - Senior Underwriter and Closer
Felicia joined Ayres Title in 2006. She has well over 13 years of experience in the title insurance and real estate settlement industry. She obtained her underwriter's license and has extensive experience in residential underwriting to include the more challenging acreage and rural land transactions. Felicia is a graduate from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and English, and is currently the office manager at Ayres Title.
Juile Roscoe Eckstein Law Firm
Ayres Title newest affiliate, Julie Roscoe Eckstein, joined the team on April 10., 2014. She graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law in May 2001. After passing the Virginia State Bar in 2001. Eckstein has practiced in the areas of residential real estate, corporate law, family law, and handled general litigation cases. Her experience is not limited to practicing law. In 2003, she taught the Real Estate class, "Bridging the Gap'. Prior to law school, Eckstein was a print and broadcast journalist. Her contributions include health pieces for WWBT-12 in Richmond, VA, as well as articles for the "Virginia Business' magazine. Eckstein proudly serves many clients in the greater Richmond area and specializes in the areas of wills and probate administration.
